Tasted at the Sauternes 2006 ten-year on horizontal in Bordeaux. The 2006 Guiraud felt a little constricted on the nose, did not quite possess the exuberance or flow of its peers. The palate is medium-bodied with dried quince and marmalade, moderate depth but it tapers in towards the finish. I have encountered better bottles of this in the past - this one was just not performing on the day - therefore I will seek to re-taste in the future. Tasted April 2016.
