Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2018 la Chandelli?re opens with notions of baked plums, blackberry preserves and bouquet garni, plus touches of tree bark and tobacco leaf. The medium to full-bodied palate contributes soft, well-managed tannins and plenty of freshness to support the earth-laced black fruits, finishing with an herbal lift.
